World Press Freedom Day (2 May)

On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, marked every year on 3 May, and under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Office in Beirut in collaboration with the UN Information Centre in Beirut (UNIC Beirut), Justicia Foundation for Development and Human Rights, and Media Association for Peace (MAP) would like to invite you to the national celebration of this Day that will serve as a forum for diverse actors to discuss the interplay between media, the judiciary and the rule of law with the context of the Sustainable Development Goals.
